Reading Reflection: Bluets by Maggie Nelson

I admire Maggie Nelson’s writing style in Bluets especially the use of raw and realistic depictions of life and living. I believe she does not try to hold back or decorate the writing style with a façade that would be described as a ‘norm’ in writing. Throughout the book, there is a constant inference to a sensual language that would otherwise be lost, in my opinion, should the writing style be bent any other way.
