Cross-Cultural Research Project Assignment

Article Database and PowerPoint Presentation Submission method: Blackboard Drop Box

(20% of final grade)

(corresponding 360 VR Presentation is 10% of the final grade

Each student is required to write a research paper on a cross-cultural issue of your choice and how it has impacted individuals‘ and/or corporations’ ethical or unethical business behaviors and decisions in five (5) different countries plus the United States.

This research project will consist of the following:

i. Find relevant academic journal & business periodical articles sourced from business databases available from the FAMU library about the topic.  Make sure to use proper citations throughout the research paper.

ii. Use the excel spreadsheet entitled “Article Database” to catalog all articles found – “re-title the file Article Database-first name-Keyword”

iii. Write a research paper (Title, Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review including necessary sub-headings, Conclusion, References) – see Research Paper Guidelines (title the file “first name-CC-Paper”)

iv. Create a PowerPoint presentation summarizing the research paper – (title the file “first name-CC-PowerPoint) – the PowerPoint presentation should be extensive enough to provide the reader with a good understanding of the major concepts and themes in the paper without reading the paper

v. Deposit your Article Database (5% of grade), Research Paper (10% of grade), and PowerPoint (5% of grade) presentation to the Digital Drop Box in Blackboard.  SafeAssign is used.

vi. Deposit a word document with the link to you 360 VP Cross-Cultural Research Presentation (10% of your final grade)
